Uniqlo swings to 10.8 bln rbl RAS net loss in 2022 in Russia

MOSCOW, Apr 21 (PRIME) -- Japanese clothes retailer Uniqlo posted a 10.79 billion rubles net loss in Russia in 2022 after a 4.13 billion rubles net profit in 2021, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the company said in a statement late on Thursday.

Revenue fell 55% to 12.07 billion rubles, and sales profit decreased by 98.5% to 77.9 million rubles.

Long-term liabilities grew 144 times to 856.6 million rubles from 5.95 million rubles, 2022, and short-term liabilities more than doubled to 13.53 billion rubles from 6.65 billion rubles.
